China's Provisions on Radio Transmitting Device
Approval went into effect on January 1, 1996. All radio-transmitting
devices imported for sale and use in China must get an approval
certification from the China State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC).
The frequency, bandwidth and other technical specification
of all radio-transmitting devices should conform to the rules and
regulation of SRRC, and be registered with the state or local radio
regulation agency. For imported equipment, the manufacturer should
acquire a Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate;
and the equipment should be marked with the approval code.
